Senior New Business Executive / SDR

Location: Reigate, Surrey 

Department: Sales 

Looking to progress your career in sales or sales management? Opus are looking for people with 2+ years B2B inside sales or lead generation expertise to assist our new business team in achieving significant growth in 2022. In return we offer the opportunity to progress within the New Business team or into Account Management

Role Responsibilities:

  • Qualifying prospects and booking qualified meetings for Account Managers and Directors within Tech, Mobile and Telecoms teams
  • Achievement of booking and qualified meeting targets
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the current product portfolio and benefits to potential customers.
  • Assist the Marketing department with event and mailing follow up
  • Assist New Business Academy Manager with new-starter induction training
  • Mentoring other members of the team
  • Responsibility for daily and weekly reporting during NB manager’s absence
  • Create and run monthly team incentives

 

What we need from you?

  • 2 years minimum B2B lead generation or sales experience selling to senior people within SME and Enterprise
  • Drive and Ability to overcome the usual hurdles including reaching the relevant DM’s
  • Experience of supporting and mentoring more junior team members
  • Proven track record of successful target achievement
