PMO Administrator

Location: Reigate, Surrey

The department

The PMO (Project Management Office) department has the responsibility for the coordination and overall delivery of all projects that are processed whether they are internal projects or client orders.

The team consists of a vast amount of experience in technology related project delivery and consists of a combination of engineering, project managers and network provisioners.

Overview of the role

Reporting to the Project Engineering Team Leader, this role will provide support to Project Managers by maintaining the engineering resource schedule, will be responsible for project utilisation reporting as well as carrying out various project related administration tasks along the way.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Maintain the project engineering schedule, assisting project managers in providing them adequate engineering resource for their ongoing projects
  • Be responsible for engineers’ daily service activities, ensuring that CRM accuracy is always upheld
  • Provide PMO line managers with regular, accurate utilisation reports
  • Be the main point of contact for schedule related queries (through training and experience)
  • Project inbox gatekeeping / provide support to coordinate the project intake process
  • Assist PMO line managers by providing project quality assurance checks to help maintain high standards across the team
  • Maintain portfolio logs such as cancellations / project incidents / lessons learned
  • Network provisioning administration tasks
  • Provide administrative support to facilitate key meetings, such as meeting room booking, taking minutes, capturing and tracking actions through to completion
  • Actively contribute to your personal development by engaging in internal training opportunities

 

What we need from you?

Technical skills and qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
