Due to our exponential growth, Opus is currently looking to expand our Bid Team. If you are an ambitious Bid Co-ordinator or Bid Manager with experience of working within the IT/Telecoms sector then we’d love to hear from you.
Working closely with the Bid Director, you will be joining an agile and ambitious team that are focussed on winning. You will play a pivotal role in helping to deliver proposals of a high standard, that are not only compelling and engaging but are also professionally produced, compliant and aligned to corporate brand guidelines.
In addition to assisting with the management of tender processes, your responsibilities will include, ensuring that the bid library is kept up to date and that templates are easily accessible; keeping the bid management knowledge base up to date with relevant material; providing regular reports on the status of bids and carrying out framework/ portal research to identify potential tender opportunities.
What we need from you?
We are looking for someone who is articulate and can communicate well at all levels (both written and verbal). You will be someone who enjoys writing and creating compelling content that the audience will want to read. You must be able to work under pressure on multiple projects and remain positive, helpful and optimistic. As a natural team player, you will enjoy working in a sales environment and enjoy building great working relationships. You will ideally possess one to three years’ experience working in a similar bid role and have excellent IT skills (Microsoft) and ideally some exposure to CRM packages.
